Plain Language Privacy Statement
What is this?
This summary explains how Echo-Health protects your privacy. We’re a digital tool that helps healthcare providers create summaries of your consult and send follow-up messages. We follow strict privacy laws in Australia, New Zealand, and the EU.
What we do
- We help doctors document your consult using secure technology.
We don’t collect your name, date of birth, or health ID.
We only keep what's necessary – like a mobile number (secured) – to send you a summary or reminder.
Your doctor is still responsible for the care and accuracy of the notes.
How we keep your information safe
- All data is encrypted and stored securely.
- We use strong passwords, restricted access, and regular security checks.
- Only approved staff and your clinic can access the information.
- Who we work with
- We use trusted cloud and communication providers to run our service.
- We only use partners who follow the same strict privacy laws.
- We do not sell or share your personal information.
Your rights
You can:- Ask if we have any personal data about you
- Request to fix or delete anything incorrect (if we have it)
- Withdraw your consent (if we asked for it)
To do this, email us at security@echo-health.ai.
