Release Notes July 2025
This release brings key usability, performance, and patient-support improvements to EchoScribe, with a focus on multilingual capability, Healthify integration, and clinician experience.
🔤 Improved Readability
The font size on the EchoScribe page has been updated to 18pt, making live transcription easier to read during consultations.
🌍 Multilingual Support – Per Consultation
EchoScribe now supports multilingual transcription and translation on a per-consultation basis.
-
To use this feature, you must enable multilingual in your session settings.
-
On the consent screen, you’ll then be able to select the preferred language for the consultation.
-
We recommend testing the workflow in your chosen language prior to use in a live setting to ensure performance and clarity.
Available languages:
Spanish, Hindi, Japanese, Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish, French, German, Indonesian, Korean, and Italian.
🌱 Healthify Integration for Patient Support
EchoScribe now detects when certain conditions are mentioned and provides relevant Healthify patient information links.
-
Currently supports 250+ common conditions, including asthma, type 2 diabetes, depression, and more.
-
Links appear automatically to help clinicians support patients with trusted, localised education resources.
🧠 Smarter Consent Options
A new toggle has been added to the consent screen allowing clinicians to indicate whether the consultation is for “smart dictation only.”
This ensures no patient-facing materials are generated when not required.
⚡ Faster File Uploads & Translation Processing
Significant improvements have been made to the speed of transcription processing:
-
Files are now processed every 2 minutes, rather than waiting for the end of the consultation.
-
This results in faster delivery of summaries, translation, and structured outputs — improving clinician workflow and reducing lag time between dictation and result.
🛠 Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements
-
Minor fixes to transcription alignment and formatting across multilingual outputs
-
Improved reliability when switching between consultation types
-
General backend performance enhancements
